"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Hebrews 11:1

NetWorthy Consulting’s founder James Batiste is one of seven boys from loving parents Estelle Curtis and John J. Batiste Sr. He is retired from the military and government civilian service. Since retirement he has tutored students in Algebra and worked as an Adjunct Instructor teaching Linux at a Community College. James has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (University of Denver) and a Masters of Science in Systems Engineering (Southern Methodist University) along with certifications as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional – Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (CISSP-ISSEP), Security+, Linux+ and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). His education and time spent acquiring Information Technology credentials are all excellent experiences utilized in classroom settings lecturing, in lab settings demonstrating and in homes and small offices implementing IT and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) related projects.

NetWorthy Consulting is a Christian faith based entity that was originally incorporated as a for-profit company. From the very beginning it has operated like a non-profit. NetWorthy has always focused its marketing in communities that historically have not been adequately exposed to and serviced by the Information Technology (IT) industry. These communities’ per capita incomes tend to be lower and their families and businesses do not have the discretionary funds to afford the services that for-profit vendors offer. In June of 2017 the state of Colorado approved NetWorthy’s application for conversion from a for-profit to a non-profit. On April 19, 2018 the Internal Revenue Service determined NetWorthy Consulting is exempted from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) 501(c)(3).

Donors can deduct contributions they make to NetWorthy Consulting under IRC Section 170.

Current Projects

GoTIS Mission: Focus the power of technology and collaboration.

GoTIS (Guardians of The Information Society) is looking for a few good critical thinkers! GoTIS stands on the shoulders of giants and has a clear line-of-sight to the future. Giants like Vinton G. Cerf and Robert E. Kahn whose critical thinking collaboration contributed to the development of packet switched networks. GoTIS is politically agnostic and holds this truth to be self-evidence ‘The Information Society holds the future of data security in its own hands’.

GoTIS’ achievable goal is to have the cybercriminals (those seeking to illegitimately obtain your data for the purpose of doing harm) wondering how they got left behind. No, it’s not enough to think like a hacker. Guardians are visionaries

GoTIS is comprised of liked minded Information Security practitioners, women and men who are passionate about their individual skills, vendor preferences and methods. They are equally fearless as they focus the power of technology and collaboration. They desire to be integrated into the fabric of every entity (i.e. business, hardware/software vendors, standards organizations, credential providers, etc.) dedicated to fundamentally changing how The Information Society protects its data and data systems. One of their responsibilities is to develop and provide guidance on the best practices for the utilization of the updated version of the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability (CIA) Triad known as the “3-Dimensions CIA Triad” and displayed as (CIA)3DTriad.
